Meet Karen Ayoub

I have been coaching for the last year, and during that time, I grew to love the opportunity to be part of another person’s journey.

I help early-career professionals get their second or third job out of college - whether a lateral move, diagonal move or promotion.

I know, from my own experience, how much impostor syndrome can get in the way, or how self-doubt can be limiting to take the steps needed for such a career move.

Instead of going it alone, let’s work together! As someone who's navigated several career moves myself, I can offer the guidance and expertise you need to make the next step easier.

As your coach, I work with you until you get a new position or promotion with this process:

  • Discover what you are passionate about and what motivates you

  • Assess your current areas of strength and your gaps

  • Develop a plan to get your next job

  • Craft a narrative about yourself and the value you bring that will land you the promotion or new role

  • Work with you to build a 30, 60, and 90 day plan once you're in the new role

I hold a professional coaching certificate and MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University. In addition to coaching, I also work as a project manager in the medical device industry, and my own career transitions means that I understand how scary and exciting those shifts can be. In professional and personal contexts, I have had the blessing of mentoring and developing others, being fully invested in their growth. Outside of this, I have made the leap into scary and new contexts, like when I started a podcast with no previous experience in communications media or sound editing.

I am based in New Jersey, and in my free time, I enjoy traveling, reading, photography, listening to podcasts, hiking, and going to museums!

Coaching is about the future. It’s about creating a future that’s different from the future that would have arrived by default if you had no coach and no sense of creativity and no commitment.”
